East End Home Care Limited Home care across East London

Our services

Personal care and support at home for adults and children across East London.

We provide personal care and support to adults and children in their own homes across East London. Our visits are completely flexible, ranging from a single visit a day to multiple visits throughout the day.

Depending on your mobility and safety needs, care can be provided by a single carer or by two carers working together. If you receive visits at different times of the day, you may see a couple of different carers across your schedule, but we keep your care team small and consistent so you always see familiar faces and build long-term relationships.

If you are unsure whether we can provide the specific support you need, please get in touch with us. We are always happy to discuss your situation and see how we can help.

Personal care

Personal care provides essential, everyday support to help you live safely and comfortably in your own home. We deliver care at your pace, encouraging independence wherever possible while assisting with:

  • Washing, bathing and showering
  • Hair care, oral hygiene and shaving
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Support with using the toilet and continence care
  • Catheter and stoma care
  • Skincare and pressure area care
  • Getting in and out of bed safely

Support for children and young people

We provide dedicated care at home for children and young people aged 7 to 18, including those with autism, physical disabilities and complex care needs. We regularly work with local authority Children with Disabilities teams and accept direct payments, allowing families to retain choice and control over who provides their child's care.

Our support includes:

  • Personal care tailored to your child's daily routine
  • Assistance with morning and bedtime routines
  • Support to attend school, clubs or social activities
  • Respite care to give parents and family carers a well-deserved break

All staff supporting children undergo additional checks against the children's barred list and complete specialist child safeguarding training.

Dementia support

Consistency and familiarity are vital for clients living with dementia. We keep visit times regular and allocate dedicated carers wherever possible. Your individual routines and preferences are detailed in your care plan so every carer provides familiar, comforting support.

Our carers also provide peace of mind by discreetly monitoring daily wellbeing, ensuring clients are eating and drinking well, taking their medication and staying comfortable at home.

Mental health support

We offer practical, day-to-day support to help clients maintain positive routines and manage well at home. Services include:

  • Personal care assistance
  • Preparing nutritious meals
  • Support attending appointments
  • Medication reminders
  • Help with household tasks and correspondence

Physical disabilities and mobility support

We help clients move safely around their homes, assist with transfers between bed and chair, and provide double-handed care (where two carers work together) for hoisting and safe movement. A full moving and handling assessment is always completed before care begins to ensure maximum safety.

We also support clients to get out and about, whether that means attending medical appointments, going shopping, visiting places of worship, or seeing family and friends.

Meals, medication, respite and companionship

Meal preparation. We prepare meals tailored to your dietary, cultural and religious preferences, including halal food. We can also keep records of food and fluid intake where needed.

Medication support. Support ranges from simple reminders to full administration, with every dose logged on a Medication Administration Record (MAR).

Respite care. Planned breaks for family carers, available from a few hours a week to longer periods of cover.

Companionship. Warm, friendly visits focused on company, conversation and day-to-day support.

Important note on our scope of care

East End Home Care Limited is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide the regulated activity of personal care only. We do not provide clinical nursing care that must be carried out by a registered nurse. If clinical care is required, we will explain this clearly and help guide you toward a suitable provider.

Careers in care

We are recruiting Care Support Workers across East London. Full training is provided, along with support to complete the Care Certificate. Previous care experience is welcome but is not essential.
